Product Overview
Abdominal vessels are called flasks in the laboratory and, in addition to beakers, are other universally applicable vessels. They are used e.g. for distillation or for heating liquids. In addition to the commonly used multi-neck flasks, Engler flasks can also be used for distillations. This type of distillation flask has a fixed side arm which is attached to the neck of the flask. Via this side arm, the steam is led into a cooler where it finally condenses to the distillate. Thermometers can be introduced via the neck of the flask. Engler Distilling Flasks is used for the atmospheric distillation of petroleum products.
