1. Monoclonal antibodies
A monoclonal antibody is specific to a single epitope within an antigen. Highly specific, monoclonal
antibodies have low non-specific cross-reactivity and minimal lot-to-lot variations. We offer a large
portfolio of high quality monoclonal antibodies backed by our Abpromise®, including our unique
range of rabbit monoclonals, RabMAb® primaries.
>Rabbitmonoclonals
Our RabMAb® rabbit monoclonal antibodies offer the superior antigen recognition of the rabbit
immune system combined with the specificity and consistency of a monoclonal, bringing you the
highest quality antibody possible.
>Mouse monoclonals
>Rat monoclonals
>Hamster monoclonals
>Other monoclonals
2. Polyclonals antibodies
Polyclonal antibodies are typically affinity purified from the antiserum of an immunized animal. This
process leads to the production of high titer and high affinity polyclonal antibodies specifically against
the antigen of interest. We offer a wide selection of polyclonal antibodies specific for multiple applications
and species.
>Rabbit polyclonals
>Goat polyclonals
>Mouse polyclonals
>Chicken polyclonals
>Other polyclonals
3. Conjugated primary antibodies
Conjugated primaries allow for direct detection of a target antigen without a secondary antibody,
which can bind non-specifically. Our wide range includes a collection of conjugated RabMAb®
primaries, as well as conjugates of HRP, biotin, and Alexa Fluor® dyes, making them ideal tools for
multicolor analysis.
4. Tags and cell markers
We’ve collected our organelle and cell type markers, epitope tag and fusion protein antibodies in one
central location. Organelle and cell type markers help visualize structures and cells in your IHC and IF
experiments. Epitope tag and fusion proteins antibodies detect recombinantly-expressed proteins that
have been tagged with a reporter protein.
5. Loading controls
Abcam has a complete portfolio of loading control products and resources to help you discover
more. The protein targets of these primary antibodies serve as internal controls by displaying constant
expression with low amounts of variability. Loading controls are essential for proper interpretation
of western blotting data.
6. Flow cytometry antibodies
We have collected our best flow cytometry products, technical protocols, and webinars in one
place. Our collection of flow cytometry validated antibodies offers multiple dye choices as well a
wide range of both intracellular and extracellular targets. Flow cytometry provides a fast and rapid
method for identifying and measuring properties of a complex biological sample. We offer a large
range of flow-validated antibodies including conjugated antibodies and RabMAb® primaries,
which offer higher affinity than traditional monoclonals.
7. Antibody panels
Our antibody panels are designed to provide you with the right products for your multiple targets
analysis in a cost effective and efficient format. Each panel contains selected high quality antibodies
in smaller pack sizes. Whether you are detecting cancer biomarkers, characterizing post translational
modifications or working on a specific pathway, here you can find antibody panels to suit
your experiment.
8. Primary antibody accessory kits
Simplify your flow cytometry experiments with our primary antibody accessory kits and reagents.
>Fix & perm/ cell fixation & permeabilization kit (flow cytometry) (ab185917)
>Brefeldin A solution (1,000x) (ab193369)
>Monensin Solution (1,000x) (ab193381)
>Flow cytometry lysing solution (ab186198)
9. Antibody and protein labeling kits
Label your antibody, protein or peptide quickly and efficiently using a simple protocol, with our
antibody conjugation kits. Less than 30 seconds hands-on time, with the antibody ready to use in
three hours (20 minutes using our fast conjugation kids).
10. Isotype controls
An isotype control is important as a negative control in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry
to differentiate non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal. To help with selecting
the right isotype control, we offer a comprehensive guide and a wide range of isotype controls
to choose from.
